The Credentialing Process

What You Need to Know

Weeks 1-2

Once you have signed the agreement, we will promptly send you a comprehensive Credentialing Packet for your completion. This packet contains all the necessary details to initiate the contracting and credentialing procedures. It is essential to provide sensitive information, but rest assured that we maintain the utmost confidentiality and security of your data. Upon submitting the completed packet and the necessary documents, our team will thoroughly review for any missing details to ensure we have everything in place before proceeding with the application submissions or network enrollment requests. You will also receive an invoice to kickstart the credentialing process at this stage.

Weeks 3-4

Upon receiving payment, we promptly initiate the process of requesting applications and submitting requests to join your selected provider networks. It is crucial to note that certain networks may necessitate a Letter of Interest (LOI), while others require an online form to be filled out before submitting the application, and some may accept a completed application right away. Irrespective of the requirements, we manage the entire process diligently and commence your credentialing without any delays. The sooner we receive your complete Credentialing Packet with all the necessary documents, the quicker this process will kick off.

Weeks 5-16

Throughout this period, we remain dedicated to pursuing contracts with each network until we secure an agreement for your review and signature. While each provider network may have a unique process, we ensure you receive a thorough bi-weekly update containing our follow-up notes, call reference numbers, and the individuals we have communicated with. Our commitment to the process is unwavering, and we have established strong relationships with numerous provider networks. Credentialing demands patience, as certain networks may take up to 120 business days or more to complete the application review. Conversely, some networks move swiftly, and you can anticipate being contracted and credentialed within 12-14 weeks.
